Springview Health & Wellness was born from a simple yet powerful belief, that true care goes beyond treating illness. It’s about creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to care for their whole selves; body, mind, and spirit.
Our founder, Dr. Juan Soto, carries this philosophy in everything he does.
Originally from Peru, Dr. Soto’s journey is one of perseverance and passion. When he immigrated to Canada, he began his medical career in the quiet landscapes of Newfoundland, far from the place he once called home, but driven by a deep desire to make a difference. Those early years shaped not only his skill as a physician, but also his understanding of what it means to truly care for a community.
With unwavering dedication, Dr. Soto went on to establish Summerview Medical, serving families and building trust as a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. But his vision was always bigger. He dreamed of a place that didn’t just treat illness, but celebrated wellness.
That dream became Springview Health & Wellness, a clinic designed to weave together medical excellence and restorative experiences. Here, advanced medical aesthetics, registered massage therapy, and our serene Himalayan salt cave come together under one roof. Every treatment is guided by Dr. Soto’s commitment to high-quality care, advanced technology, and exceptional results.
Dr. Soto holds a Certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, SCOPE certification from The World Obesity Federation, a Diploma in Travel Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and has completed an Advanced Curriculum Fellowship in Obesity Management with The Obesity Medical Association. This extensive training fuels his mission to offer safe, evidence-based treatments while creating an atmosphere where clients feel understood and valued.
